Looking to join a friendly, welcoming bunch of golfers? 55 years of age or over?
Then come and join the Marlborough Golf Club senior section.

How are the Seniors organised?

The senior section has a separate club membership under the umbrella of the main committee and its governance. Seniors have a small committee organising matches and events specific to them.

Representatives from the Seniors Committee sit on the Main Committee to ensure senior members are kept informed of wider issues affecting them and are able to communicate and co-ordinate various aspects of the Seniors Programme of events.

Annual cost of senior’s membership is currently £5 for which a member may take advantage of the following benefits:

Participation in home and away matches.
Monthly senior medal / stableford competitions.
Summer/Winter knockout stableford competitions, singles and doubles competitions.
Seasonal eclectic competitions.
Texas Scrambles.
Certain mixed (ladies, men, juniors) competitions.
Open invitations from Golf Clubs throughout the south west.
All the above plus more specific events as well as opportunities to take part in other Club events appropriate to membership category, i.e. 5 day or 7 day.
