Marlborough Golf Club

As we move into winter and the time when the course is at its wettest, the club is seeking membership input to to the following:

The bottom nine is always the wettest part of the course, but is also the start of the course, therefore members who for medical reasons can only play the course with a buggy (less than a dozen members), cannot start a round when buggies are not allowed on the bottom nine. If this is a normal winter, this may be the predominant situation from November to March/April.

In order to allow these members to be able to play at least nine holes during these wet times, the club is seeking your input as to which solution you would prefer us to implement:

1. Whilst buggies are not allowed on the bottom nine, all rounds for all members to start from the 10th tee and finish on the 9th.
2. Those members (~12) who can only play using a buggy, receive dispensation to play nine holes starting from the 10th, slotting in between games on the 9th.
